I was the entertainment at a party the other night. It was a birthday party and I did astrology readings for those attending the evening shin-dig. It was really fun and felt like a successful event. I did about 10-12 mini-readings over the course of the night.
I was amazed that each person that came to me had a predominate Scorpio or 8th. I was actually floored. It felt fitting since the Sun is currently in Scorpio and this woman had hired two astrologers to liven up her birthday party. Seemed about right.
Later in the evening I was downloading with my fellow astrologer friend Fern who had been doing as many readings for party guests in the next room over. She reporters a predominance of Taurus energy in those that came to her.
Fascinating.
There are a couple explanations. One Fern and I may have each been looking through our own lenses - seeing the dominance of a planet or house because that archetype was up for us. But if we assume we are better astrologers than that (lets do that since I think we are both fabulous) it may have simply been that synchronicity played a part. Those that made there way to my reading table were the ones that instinctively felt pulled in my direction. The same for those who were pulled towards Fern.
What does this have to do with motherhood? Quite simply it is this: synchronicities happen. Be on the look out. They happen with who you chose to spend your time with. They happen with who your child chooses to spend time with. They happen when a humming bird graces your presence at precisely the moment when a fun idea comes to mind.
One of the best ways you can support your child through the use of astrology is simply by paying attention. Pay attention to their chart, pay attention to yours, pay attention to the charts of important people in there lives. You will begin to notice patterns that play a role in how this big mystery of a life unfolds.
