Prince Albert - Jennifer Capriati

Prince Albert of Monaco has announced his long awaited engagement – to South African Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock. The marriage is due mid 2011. He was born 14 March 1958 at 10.47 am Monte Carlo and it’s fairly obvious why he has delayed so long in committing himself. He has a 10th house Sun Pisces so is well designed for a public career. His Sun square a 7th house Saturn hints at a marriage that comes later in life than most. Plus he has a changeable, detached Venus in Aquarius opposition Uranus square Neptune in Scorpio. Uranus will make him jump back from a tied-in relationship. Neptune will make him uncommitted in a different way – always looking for perfection which real life doesn’t offer. Plus he has a deeply buried 8th house Moon and Mars in Capricorn and a 4th house Pluto – so from various different angles he’s scared of being trapped. His bride-to-be was born on 25 Jan 1978 at 12.35pm either in Jo’Burg, South Africa or in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She’s a Sun Venus in Aquarius so is also quite detached and with her Sun Venus opposition Mars in Leo she’ll be quite fiery. Her Moon is in Leo as well as Saturn, with Moon square a 7th house Uranus. So she’s none too eager to be tied down either. She’ll like the importance of being a Princess with Saturn and Moon in Leo but she’s also changeable emotionally and wants elbow room. Plus she has an 8th house Neptune which looks for perfection. In many ways they are not that dissimilar but whether that is a recipe for success or disaster, time will tell. Their relationship chart has a Sun opposition Jupiter which is certainly enthusiastic and indulgent. But it also has Neptune squaring that opposition which is a fairy tale that might not have a happy ending – too much illusion that leads to disappointment. Plus the Sun is trine Saturn Mars Moon – which looks aggravated, argumentative, not mutually supportive or more duty than pleasure. The relationship chart is being undermined this year by tr Neptune trine Saturn and pressures pile up as the wedding approaches from next March onwards with tr Neptune opposing Jupiter and conjunct the composite Sun and trine the comp Mars – so panics will set in or worse. I suspect there’ll be a fair few ups and downs before this year is out with tr Uranus opposition the composite Uranus. His chart looks uncertain and confused on the relationship front this year with his Solar Arc Neptune conjunct his 7th house Saturn. And his Secondary Progressed Moon goes into his 7th come later this year which is often when flaws in relationships show up; or there is need for major re-adjustments. Though Charlene does look very upbeat in coming months with her Solar Arc Jupiter conjunct her Mars. Jennifer Capriati, the former teenage tennis star, has been taken to hospital after a suspected accidental drugs overdose. In recent years she has suffered from a persistent shoulder injury and admitted to feeling depressed and suicidal in a 2007 interview. She undoubtedly has a difficult chart. Born on 29 March 1976, she is an Aries Sun Mercury opposition Pluto square Mars in Cancer – so there’s frustration writ large in that. A focal point Mars makes her impatient, impulsive, reckless but she’s anchored down by a close Sun opposition Pluto. Her internal dynamics are all about not being in control of her life, herself, her way ahead. Sun Pluto women in my experience tend not to get a grip of their lives until almost half way through since they were so over dominated, however subtly early on. And in her case it wouldn’t be so subtle. She also got a scared-of-failure Saturn in unhappy Cancer square Jupiter. And a hyper-sensitive Venus in Pisces square Neptune and maybe a Pisces Moon so she’s very split between that ruthless driving Sun Mars Pluto and part of her emotional feminine side which can’t really handle the other side of her. She’s got a tough time ahead with the tr Saturn, tr Pluto, tr Uranus hitting her Mars first and then Sun, Pluto over the next few years. She’ll need strong support.
