Ms. Capricorn wants to know about job prospects Kelly Surtees

Q:
I started working at the company I am currently at on May 5, 2008 @ 8am. About 15 months later the company was sold to another, larger company. Announcement to us was on Sept 15, 2009 @ 10:15am. Though we were told the papers were signed the afternoon before (apparently under a void of course moon - yikes!). My boss and others quit right away leaving the department without leadership and direction. A very Capricorn question: what are my prospects with this company now? Should I stay or should I go?

Thanks, Trish (Birth data withheld on request)

A:
Your job prospects improve greatly from December 2010. In many ways, you are biding your time until then, knowing there’s probably something MUCH better out there for you. And there is.

You were born with the fated nodes aligned with your career zone, showing that more often than not, you’re in the right place at the right time to advance your career. This divine timing influence around work plays out throughout your life, but will be especially strong through mid May 2010. May is when you get second chances at home and on the job, especially around projects or offers that have been delayed since late 2009.

With Pluto currently transiting your Capricorn Sun (March – May 2010 + December 2010/January 2011), you are ready to reinvent yourself on all levels. Power plays or control issues that arise under Pluto are designed to help you take charge of who you are and what you do. It’s a time to get in touch with your true power and reveal your authentic identity.

Saturn to Mars (November 09/ March + August 10) often brings to the surface questions around life direction. Through this time, weigh up the costs of security versus the excitement of new opportunities. The reality of your current course through life hits home in these months, helping you work out whether another 7 years of the same kind of existence is what you want.

Job questions for you right now are bigger than just should you stay or go. Instead, consider what you want from life and where you want your career to take you. I’d suggest exploring a career change rather than a job switch, even if it takes a little time to get there.
